It has a high straight upholstered back with scrolled and foliate carving. A fine Bacchic mask to the lower back rail, and scrolled arm terminals. The sofa is raised on squat cabriole supports with ball and claw feet
The back and sea of the sofa are a of a yellow and gold striped silk fabric
