They have a striking cobalt ground with a cartouche framed oval floral panel to one side and ornate swirling gilding to the other.

To either side of the bulbous bodies are highly worked ormolu stylehandles, leading the eye towards the finial topped gilded lids.

The body leads down to a knopped stem sitting on superbly ornate ormolu bases.
